West Jeff Girls Softball / Rocky Mountain Rampage

 The WJ Bobcats (first midget player pitch, age 9U) trailed the Arvada Hawks 1-3 going into the bottom of the last inning at Stagecoach Field on Thursday, May 20.  The never say die Bobcats rallied for 3 runs in the bottom of the final frame to squeak out a 4-3 victory.  Pictured is Josey Nichols driving a single in the first inning.  Coach Justin Cates said after the game, "I am really proud of the girls, they didn't get down on themselves, kept playing hard and found a way to get it done."
